Studies are small snapshots of the progress between series. I think of them as the connective tissue between the more muscular pieces, and many of them are just as lovely in their own right. These show the progression between the first, second, and third installments of the Collectives series, as the shapes evolved from more jagged to more smooth, to richer in color and gradient.
